Live flight tracker

Live flight tracker on the desk: Vulcan Desktop Radar

Vulcan Desktop Radar is a live flight tracker you leave running: real-time aircraft around a chosen location, shown as radar-style tracks on a 5-inch colour display. No app to unlock. No monthly product subscription.

How the live picture gets to the desk

Live flight tracking for Vulcan Desktop Radar uses ADS‑B–derived positions delivered over Wi‑Fi from the Vulcan Radar cloud feed. You set a location — UK postcode or latitude and longitude — and nearby aeroplanes appear as moving tracks. Coverage varies with the underlying data, just as it does on any enthusiast map.

The unit is a live aeroplane radar for personal situational awareness. It is not a certified traffic display, not a navigation source, and not a substitute for air traffic control. Enjoy the sweep; keep operational decisions on official channels.

Real-time tracking without another phone session

Most “live flight tracker” searches land on phone and browser maps. Those are excellent for a single flight or a trip. Vulcan Desktop Radar is for always-on tracking at home or in the office: rotary range 10–200 NM, side-panel details when you tap a track, classic aviation styling, USB-C power.

Languages on the device include English and a full European set. You buy the hardware once. The live feed is part of the product model, not a separate consumer subscription for the screen to stay alive.

Named for the Avro Vulcan, built as desk hardware

The live flight tracker on this site is Vulcan Desktop Radar, named after the Avro Vulcan bomber, made in Cornwall, UK, and sold from our business address in Poole. If you want the official product rather than a generic live map, you are in the right place.
